He was predeceased by: his father Leonard Ryan; and his grandparents, Alexander, Anne Campbell, Francis and Elizabeth Ryan.

He is survived by: his mother Gail Ann Ryan; his siblings, Brian MacPherson (Sandi), Glenn MacPherson (Lisa) and Rhonda MacPherson; his aunts, Judy (John Bednarz), Linda (John Ranville), Jeanette (Michael Brennan), Bernadette (Ray Bartlett), Hildegarde (Kenny Brennan) and Sheila (Peter Jackson); his nephews, Spencer, Logan and Jason; and his niece Jade.
