With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Triemstra (Barrie, Ontario), who passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Ron Triemstra (Hilma); and his great-grandparents, Eli, Everly (Eleanor), Skye, Quinn (Ella), Liam, Kinsley, Gwendolen, Deacon and Emmaline.
He is survived by: his spouse Martje Vandenberg; his children, John Triemstra (Thalia), Monica Horlings (Dave) and Sylvia Craig (Dan); his grandchildren, Nick (Sarah), Rebecca (Josh), Erica (Jon), Amanda, Hilary (Tyler), Aaron (Kimberley), Lucas (Marci), Lauren (Mark), Kyle (Carolyn), Justin (Brittany), Caitlin (Carl), Joshua and Jeremy; and his sister Nell. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Unity Christian High School - Barrie.
