Joan McConnell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan McConnell of Barrie, Ontario, who passed away on September 13, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Donald McConnell; her children, Donna Nych (Steve) of Arnprior, Robert McConnell of Barrie, Kelsie Habecker (Jack) of Arnprior, Connie Milne (Terry) of Arnprior, Lana Grenier (Jim) of Arnprior and Jim McConnell (Bonnie) of Stittsville; her grandchildren, Sean (Mandy McIlquham), Kelly (Shannon Lebrun), Erin (Dan Trtik), Jessie, Sarah (Ron Maddocks), Cory (Amy Gahan), Ashleigh (Gordon Corvers), Amanda (Jeff Dawson), Amy (Maddie Gordon), Breanne (Taylor Jones), Jordan and Michaela; her great grandchildren, Hanah, Hudson, Nolan, Wesley of Levi, RJ and Emery; her stepgreat-grandchild Karlee Lebrun; her sister Beth Deveaux (Bernard) of Arnprior; and her niece Sherri Johnston.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Boyce Funeral Home (138 Daniel St N, Arnprior, ON K7S2L3). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Emmanuel Anglican Church (287 Harrington St, Arnprior, ON K7S2V2).
