It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Ellen Varty of Barrie, Ontario, who passed away on May 11, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jessie Ellen Varty to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Heap and Madeleine Heap; and her sisters, Lynda Lindquist and Wilma Blevins. She is survived by: her husband John Varty; her son Peter (Lori); and her grandchildren, Carys and Jacob. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held in the near future when Covid protocols allow.

If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
