She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Andrew Brouwer; her children, Gary Brouwer (Corrine), Caroline Dyk (Ed), Winnefred Wiebenga (Bernie) and Ken Brouwer (Sherri); her grandchildren, Tara, Jeff (Kristyn), Tim, Caitlin, Travis (Katie), Justine, Alex (Mandy), Matthew (Emily), Sara (Cameron) and Finn; her siblings, Sid (Ann), Andy (Martha), Bill (Linda), Susan Verburg (Marten), Gilbert (late Marga) and Effie Davison (late George); and her siblings-in-law, Tine (late Jan), Kate, Albert (Clara), Effie Bierling (late Louis) and John (Anita).
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barrie First Christian Reformed Church (33 Shirley Ave, Barrie, ON L4N1M9). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
