He was predeceased by: his brother Bud; and his brother-in-law Robert. He is survived by: his wife Heather; his children, Todd (Sandra), Tamara Byers (Glen), Tabitha Doody (Brian) and Tristan (Kim); his sister Diane Thurlow; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Britton. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

If desired, the family has requested donations be made to Parkinson's.
