He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh T. Borthwick and Mabel Borthwick. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his brother George "Bud"; his children, Tim (Sarah), Judy, Paul (Erin), Lindsay (Mathieu) and Mark (Stephanie); and his great grandchildren, Tate, Lucy, Jennifer, Lincoln, Grayson, Thomas, Calla, Duncan, Grant, Maleah and Jovian.
