He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean; his siblings, Edna, Bessie, Fred, Wilf, Jean, Lilian, George, Hazel, Grace, Gordon, Jennie and Clifford; and his grandsons, Darcy and Shawn.

He is survived by: his children, Carolyn (late Joe), Marolyn (Eldon), Margaret, Alex (Wenda), Ferne (Bob) and David (Mila). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
