He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son David Bartley (Shirley); his grandson Owen Bartley (Sharon); his great grandchildren, Jenson and Cole; his grandson Glenn Bartley; his daughter Jennifer Merchant (Bob); his grandchild Ashleigh Merchant (Pam); his stepson Bill Thompson (Cindy); his stepgranddaughters, Bonnie and Diana; his stepchildren, Jennifer Thompson and Douglas Thompson (Kara); and his daughters, Emily and Audrey.
