He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey; and his sons, Alan and John. He is survived by: his son Paul (Onalee); his granddaughters, Jenny (Simon), Tracy (Alban) and Nicole; his great grandchildren, Finley, Lukas, Sabine and Adria; and his brothers, Alan and Martyn.
