He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth McHattie and Margaret McHattie; and his brother Robert Ivor McHattie. He is survived by: his brother Douglas McHattie (Goldie); his sons, Wade McHattie (Charlotte) and Robert McHattie (Andrea Alfieri); his grandchildren, Tanner McHattie, Nicole Crowell (Jack), Lauren Edgar (Jacob), Finley McHattie, Ben McGregor and Hunter Alfieri; and his great grandchildren, Markus and Evelyn Edgar.
