George Kitson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Kitson (Barrie, Ontario), who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Jean Kitson (Purvis); his children, Robert Michael Kitson and Jo-Anne Katheline Kitson; his mother Lorraine Nugent (Zwicker); and his sisters, Eleanor Talbot (Pug) and Viola Melanson (Kitson).
He is survived by: his son George Andrew Shawn Kitson (Tracey Penner); his grandchildren, Jay Penner, Scott Penner, Tashina Potter, Jessica Potter and Kade; his siblings, Michael Nugent, Brian Nugent, Brent Nugent, Bonnie Henderson (Jim), Karen Tugwell (Ross) and Heather MacKenzie; his nephew George; and his nieces, Shannon, Pamela (Bob) and Jamie Melanson. He is also survived by his family and the many relatives and friends.
