He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest and Jessie. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Bidwell; his children, John (Tena) and Cathy (Chris Moggy); his grandchildren, Kimberly and Max; his brother Don (Jean); his godchildren, Kelsey and Ryan; and his siblings, Laura, Betty Woods (Bill) and Robert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (445 St Vincent St, Barrie, ON L4M6T5). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Simcoe, Oro District Lions Club or a charity of choice.
