He was predeceased by: his wife Julia Rose; his grandson Justin; his mother Annmarie; and his siblings, Wendy and Bryant.
He is survived by: his children, Rose (George), Nick (Tracy) and Christine; and his grandchildren, Alicia (Matt), Derek, Nikki (Eric), Carley (Shane), Chloe (Nick), Blake, Layla, Beau, Camryn and Wrenley.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Doug can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
