She was predeceased by: her husband James Whitman; her child Janey Obi (Isreal); her grandchild Everton; her great grandchild Alakai; and her siblings, Linda, Tyler and Earl.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Robert Gallant; her children, Jaime Peters (Lenroy), Steven Whitman, Kimberly Gittens (Hayden), Wayne Whitman and Natalie Borden (Chris); her grandchildren, Kaysha, Darius, Kelson, Reign, Travis, Devon, Donavan, Olivia, Serenity, Jonathan, Ashleah, Emily, Matthew, Benjamin, Zachary, Avery, Cecilia and Grayson; her great grandchildren, Dove, Zaydon, London and Nevaeh; and her siblings, Ken (Christine), Don (Belinda), Susian, Donna (Gary), Janice, Jeffrey, David and Joann.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home Worsley Street Chapel, Barrie Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home Worsley Street Chapel (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4). A reception will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
