With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen Crowther (Barrie, Ontario), born in Port Colborne, Ontario, who passed away on August 24, 2018 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband George Crowther; her son James Crowther; and her brothers, Jack Owen, Ronald Owen and Bruce Owen.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Crowther, Thomas Crowther, Patricia Scolaro (Steve) of Grimsby, Jennifer Maurice (Rob) of Port Colborne and Elizabeth Watt (Archie) of Welland; her grandchildren, Tessa Carmosino (Rico) of Grimsby, Steve and Michael Crowther (Danisa) of Barrie; and her great grandchildren, Ben Carmosino, Sam Carmosino, Nic Carmosino and Jon Carmosino.
