She was predeceased by: her husband Otto Tiemersma; her brother Tim Wynia; her parents, Fetze Wynia and Bettina Wynia; and her son-in-law Roger of Brum.

She is survived by: her children, Tamara Tiemersma and Martin Tiemersma (Kim); her grandchildren, Elsha Tiemersma, Abby Tiemersma, Nicolas Tiemersma and Abbygayle of Brum; her siblings, Joanne Owen (Joe), Hans Wynia and Frank Wynia (Lynn); her sister-in-law Shelley Wynia; and her extended family, Lycklama and Vermaas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Liz's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
