He was predeceased by: his father Scott Diggle; and his stepfather Barry Oliphant. He is survived by: his son Martin Diggle of Calgary, AB.; his fiancé Charlena Ellis; his stepdaughters, Kaitlynn and Alise; his mother Helen Oliphant; his sister Mary Diggle; his niece Kendell Morphy; and his nephews, Douglas Diggle and Jason Morphy of Angus, ON..
In accordance with his wishes, he was to be cremated with a celebration of life to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Angus, ON once Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
As expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Wounded Warriors would be appreciated by Edward's family.
