With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Kenneth MacDonald (Barrie, Ontario), who passed away on December 19, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Huntley MacDonald and Effie MacDonald; his siblings, A. D. (Catherine), Carroll (Ruth), Leonard (Margie) and Terrance; his children, Kathleen, Donald (Cathy), Dale (Jodi), Kimberley (Tim) and Devon (Sarah); his grandchildren, Chyvonne, Tyler, James, John, Caelan, Ashlan, Ella, Huntleigh, Serena, Seth, Austin, Mya, Kaydence, Kingsley and Jasmine; and his great grandchildren, Payton and Ryder.
He is survived by: his wife Irene MacDonald; and his siblings, Wilfred (Myrtle), Germaine, Lillian, Mary, Bernard and Evelyn. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (445 St Vincent St, Barrie, ON L4M6T5). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (208 Sunnidale Rd, Barrie, ON L4N5N9). A reception will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (445 St Vincent St, Barrie, ON L4M6T5).
