It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Deryk Westervelt (Barrie, Ontario), born in Sudbury, Ontario, who passed away on October 28, 2022, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Stacey Westervelt; his children, Curtis Casserley (Amy), Kayla Westervelt and Zoey Westervelt; his mother Sharron MacKay (John Kawiuk); his brother-in-law Chris Sewarun (Melinda); his nephew Cory Sewarun; his niece Dawn Marie Sewarun; his father Morley Westervelt; his siblings, Mandy, Katie, Andrew, Deana and Tracey; and his aunts and uncles, Donnie Mackay, Rod Mackay (Lorraine), Neil (Jeannette), Heather Blondin (Mike), Susan Westervelt and Mike Westervelt (Glenna). He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer society or the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook where we spent many hours over the past eight months.
