David Saunders Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Saunders (Barrie, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on July 27, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard and Amy; his wife Audrey; his sister Barb Cook (John Bowden); his children, Darin (Lori Sherlock), Jason (Teresa McPhee), Marni (Thuy Vo) and Naomi (Todd Steuernol); and his grandchildren, Jessica and Sierra. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

David's family would like to thank Dr. Parbtani, Dr. Boushy, and all the lovely nurses, at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre that attended to him, especially Twinkle, Nella and Jennie too for their kindness to him while family was prevented from visiting during the pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County, Barrie would be greatly appreciated by the family.
