He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Nichols and Catherine Nichols (Lyne). He is survived by: his wife Paula Pedwell; his children, Paul (Terry), Scott (Irene), Terry and Bradley (Jaclyn); and his siblings, Alec (Verna) and Sue (Chuck). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
