He was predeceased by: his parents, Eccelstone Winter and Marjory Winter; and his sisters, Margaret, Linda and Elaine.

He is survived by: his children, Gregory Winter, Beverley DiCarlo (Don) and Lisa Console (Tony); his grandchildren, Thomas, Grant, Laura, Alex, Kierlyn, Lucas and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Giuliana, Olivia, Holden and Sloane; his sister Jane Blogg (Winston); and his siblings-in-law, Janice Laking and Jim Laking (Marina). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
