He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Selina Allen; his sons, David and Kevin; his parents, George Allen and Elizabeth Allen; and his brother Nelson.

He is survived by: his son Gordon (Dianne); his granddaughter Laura Koetje; his daughter Delores Roberts (Gary); his grandchildren, Teresa, Jennifer, Danny, Jason and Alfred (Heather); his great grandchildren, Melissa, Natalie and Josh; his grandson Brian (Angela); his great grandchildren, James, Tyler, Brian, Chrystal, Amber, Amanda and Alicia; and his siblings, Rhona, Verna, Gordon, George and Evangeline.
