He is survived by: his spouse Lynn Gilmore; his sons, Bob Cowie (Laura) and Dan Cowie (Vicky); and his grandchildren, Owenn, Emma and Jaxson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, Cystic Fibrosis, MS Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Chalice would be appreciated.
