He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helen; his children, Joan (Gord), Suzanne (Paul), Bob, Stephen (Vicki) and Cherylanne; his grandchildren, Christopher, Trevor, Madison, Connor, Kelsie, Ashley, Mackenzie and Taylor; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Jessica, Mia, Jax and Rory; and his siblings, Ivy and Lawrence. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (445 St Vincent St, Barrie, ON L4M6T5). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bernard's memory to Margaret's Place Hospice and to the Salvation Army.
