She was predeceased by: her daughter Beverely Ann Walter; her parents, Merrick Dicks and Susan Irene Dicks; her siblings, Georgina, Eric (Joyce), Bill (Crissie), Ruby (Eddrell), Allan, Donald, Vena and Clara; and her brothers-in-law, Lloyd Glidden, Louis and Leroy Leveque.

She is survived by: her husband Terrance; her stepdaughter Rhonda; her siblings, Lenoard Dicks, Samuel Dicks (Alva), Rose Glidden, Wilfred Dicks (Jean) and Linda Handsley (Henry); and her sisters-in-law, Marjorie Dicks and Susanne Gow (Alan). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice, the Diabetes Canada, Alzheimer Society of Canada, Canadian Cancer Society, and Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
