He was predeceased by: his grandson Shawn; his parents, Minor Card and Elizabeth Card (Hinze); and his siblings, Jenny, Erma, Hilda and Ross.

He is survived by: his wife Faye Card; his children, Ralph (Gail), Dean (Deb), David (Sandy), Rodger (Patty), Steven (Laticia) and Lynda (Phil); and his siblings, Violet, Clifford, Don (Sylvia), Murray (Fay), Kay (Dwayne) and Carol (Ken). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
