He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen; his son Mike Marshall; and his siblings, Olive Lane, Martha Prodaniuk, Leona Fraser, Yvonne Henry, Garnet, Kenneth, Walter and Dan Marshall.

He is survived by: his children, Tony Marshall (Liz), Deborah Marshall, Mary Boisvenue (Shoe), Patricia Marshall, Joan Lascelles and Carol Fortnum (Scott). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
