He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Martin and Susannah Martin (Martin); his granddaughter Jana Rose Martin; his brother Stanley Martin; his sister-in-law Eileen Martin; his parents-in-law, James Bandy and Gladys Bruce (Bandy); and his brothers-in-law, George Bandy and Everett Lyons.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Martin (Bandy); his children, James Martin (Marion), Jonathan Martin (Ruth), Joseph Martin (Sharmen), Peter Martin (Tina), Mary Martin, Sarah Martin (Carl), Rebecca Martin, Dorcas Martin and Lois Martin; his grandchildren, Yalonda, Dallas, Lyndon, Adrianna, Ethan, Joel, Darren, Kathleen, Katrina, Nancy, Jessica, Judson, Nathaniel, Theodore, Laetitia, April, Alethea, Lewis, Jedidiah and Lilibet; his siblings, Paul Martin, Mervin Martin (Vera), Violet Gingrich (Abner), Vera Bauman (Eugene) and Verda Martin (David); his siblings-in-law, Doris Martin, Doris Wannamaker (Earl), Dorothy Lyons, Isabelle Bruce (Gary), Esther Bruce, Lorne Bandy, Elmer Bruce, Eric Bruce and Barry Bruce; and his stepfather-in-law Ray Bruce. He is also survived by 23 step grandchildren and 35 step great-grandchildren.
