He was predeceased by: his spouse Ruth Gropler; and his parents, Franz Gropler and Charlotte Blachney. He is survived by: his children, Klaus (Nicole) and Gabriele; his grandchildren, Kurtiss and Lindsay (Andy); and his great grandchildren, Isabella, Kayla, Maggie, Autumn, Talice, Asher and River.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Heart Institute, 40 Ruskin Ave, Ottawa, Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
