He was predeceased by: his parents, Dickson Bowes and Margaret Bowes; and his brother Raymond Bowes. He is survived by: his wife Peggy (Waite); his children, Coby Bowes, Dave Knowles of Alliston, Charlene Bowes, Doug Clark of Embrun, James, Shelley Bowes of Baden, Julie and Brent Robins of Tobermory; his grandchildren, Morgan (Josh), Timothy, Courtney, Jamie, Matthew, James, Emma, Lily, Isaac, Tori, Sasha, Adam (Megan), Tyler (Trish) and Logan; his great grandchildren, Everleigh and Brookelynn; his siblings, Audrey and Phil Moore of Alberta; and his siblings-in-law, Carol, Jim Dowswell, Roger, Cathy Waite, Debbie Waite, Janet Roelofsen and Judy Chalmers. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to Covid 19 Restrictions masks are required, social distancing must be respected and a limited number of people will be able to see the family at any given time.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society for research would be appreciated by the family.
