She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Shantz (Bechtel) and John Shantz; her siblings, Jean Shantz and Lowell Shantz; and her brothers-in-law, Morgan Baer and Norman Gascho.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mae Baer, Alice Gascho and Helen McDonald; and her siblings-in-law, Lorene Shantz and Arnold McDonald. She is also survived by her 19 nieces and nephews; and many cousins, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews.
