He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Hale (Malone); his siblings, Leonard Hale (Anna), Gerald Hale (Mary), Louie Hale, James Hale, Helen Dadswell (Charlie) and Rita Tangney (Joe); his sisters-in-law, Gladys O'Dwyer, Peter O'Dwyer, Marcia Morris and Pat Morris; his nieces, Jane Tangney and Susan Weber; and his nephew John Hale.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Heffernan of Guelph, Patricia Heffernan (Reid) of London, Elizabeth Boyce (Tim) of London and Larry Hale (Fran) of Harriston; his grandchildren, Greg Heffernan, Meaghan Heffernan, Andrea Heffernan, Christopher Oster, Christian Heffernan, Kelsi Mayne, Jeremy Heffernan, Kim Heffernan, Sara Boyce, Mike Campbell, Matt Boyce, Dawn Boyce, Ben Boyce, Jennifer Hale-Adam, Kyle Adam, Laura Mazurek, Ken Mazurek, Julie Hale and Ed Kozak; his great grandchildren, Isabelle Heffernan, Christian Heffernan, Madison Heffernan, Abbyghale Adam, Jasper Heffernan, Bennett Adam and Logan Edward Mazurek; his siblings, Tom Hale of Baden and Cecile Hale of Baden; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Hale of Guelph and Ken Malone of Ottawa. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and the many great friends.
