He is survived by: his wife Rose Wagler (Holtzhauer); his sons, Scott (Wendy) of New Hamburg and Steve (Michelle) of New Hamburg; his grandchildren, Brieanna, Tyson and Samantha; his sisters, Shirley (Allan Koch) of Wroxeter and Judy (Harold Shantz) of New Hamburg; and his niece Dolores (Randy Hopkins) of Tavistock. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Hospital or the Steinman Mennonite Church facilities project (roof) would be appreciated by the family.
