He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oliver Shantz and Elsie Shantz; his wife Jill Shantz; his children, Jodie Evans (Paul Mohr) and Micheal Shantz; his grandchildren, Max, Riley, Carter Evans and Hunter Shantz; his siblings, Rick Shantz (Doreen), Chris Albrecht (Brent), Jennifer Martin (Kevin) and Dawna MacIntosh; and his parents-in-law, Florence Ward and Kenneth Ward. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews.
