He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Sandy Schacht (Airdrie); his sons, Andrew (Cassandra Schacht) and Tyler (Makenna Schacht); his grandchildren, Weston, Jaycee, Jack and Tyler; his mother Marie Schacht; his brothers, Steven and Roger; his mother-in-law Joan Airdrie; his niece Bonnie Young (Jeff); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily (Tyler), Megan (Tim) and Maddy (Seth); his nephew Andy Airdrie (Sheila); his great-nephew Connor; his great-niece Rebecca; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shayne, Wesley and Jesse; his father Robert "Bob" Schacht; his father-in-law Harold Airdrie; and also Kim Forwell (Scott).
