Léon McLean Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Léon McLean (Azilda, Ontario), who passed away on August 1, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elphège McLean and Simonne McLean; his brothers, Roland (Shirley) and Gilles (Janelle); and his grandson Guy Daigle.
He is survived by: his wife Noëlla McLean; his children, Gérald, Laurence (Rob Sauvé), Chantal (Marcellin Leroux), France (Claude Leroux) and Francine (Claude Gagné); his grandchildren, Cassandre McLean-Ikauno (Stéphane), Matthieu McLean (Eileen), François-Xavier McLean (Renée), Véronique Raymond (Patricia), Samuel McLean, Joseph McLean, Myriam McLean (Marc-André Cyr), Jean-Sébastien McLean (Tyler Bélanger), Katéri McLean (Andrew Cummings), Renée Daigle, Corey Lachapelle, Janyka Leroux, Pasquinel Leroux, Jonathan Leroux, Sabrina Leroux, Justin Leroux, Zacharie Gagné (Julie Vachon), Patrick Gagné and Mélanie Gagné; his great grandchildren, Mikaï, Liam, Lilianne, Eva, Janelle, Noah, Alexie and Sofia; and his siblings, Maurice (Anita), Aline Léveillé-Mallet, Fern, Robert (Réjeanne), André (Carole), Rémi (Janet) and Denise (Ronald Paynter). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Family and relatives are invited for a gathering at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R. R. 15, Chelmsford on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 2-4 p. m. Friends and the public are welcome to attend at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p. m. Wearing of masks and social distancing are mandatory.
