He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave Mantysaari and Ellen Mantysaari; his wife Emérance Mantysaari; and his siblings, Albert (late Alice), Arne (late Jeannine), Alden (late Constance), Laila Kivari (late Martin) and Eila Godin.
He is survived by: his children, Linda (Don Larocque) of Azilda, Joyce (Jim Kirkwood) of Azilda, Gary Mantysaari (Louise) of Azilda and Gail Mantysaari (Michael Kajdas) of Azilda; his grandchildren, Jamie Lachapelle (Ray), Jana Baldauf (Ehren), Sarah Betancourt (Diego), Dana Jackson (Eric), Trevor and Taylor Kajdas; his great grandchildren, Austen, Olivia, Adysen, William, Alayna, Connor, Ethan and Mateo; and his siblings, Larry Puukila (Marlene) and Sadie Mantysaari. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
