She is survived by: her husband James Wesley Sommers; her daughter Joni Louise (Kenneth D. Green) of Ayr; her grandchildren, Jefry James Thomas, Jordan Riley (Cassandra Dadson) and Jack Kenneth Robert; her daughter Jennifer Lynn (Lee Jay Bamberry) of Vancouver, B. C.; and her grandchildren, Wolfe James Lee, Coltrane Jones, Elijah Bernard, Jonphonse Jabez, Maehalia Isabella and Juliette Truth.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ayr Chapel, Wm Kipp Funeral Home (183 Northumberland St, Ayr, ON N0B1E0). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 1550 Reidsville Rd, Ayr, ON N0B1E0.
