He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Zimmer and Carolyn Zimmer; and his siblings, Sandra Hunter, Mary Zimmer and Bob Zimmer.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Zimmer; his children, Greg (Suzy), Ryan (Emma) and Trisha; his grandchildren, Erica, Maggie, Owen, Rachel, Abbigail, Tyler and Myles; his siblings, Ken, Patrick (Susan), Linda Callaghan (Terry), Joe, Paul (Karen), Cathy Walker (Ron) and Peter (Janice); his siblings-in-law, Pat Zimmer, Brian Hunter, Joan Rothenberg, Jean Walker (Eric) and Bill Arthur (Diana); and his pet Louis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
