She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Glen; her granddaughters, Kristin (Nolan), Danielle (Greg), Kaitlyn (Anthony) and Rebecca; her great grandchildren, Theo and Max; her parents, Nelson House and Martha House; and her brothers, Kenneth (June) and Howard House. She was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be preferred.
