He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Bouma and Aleida Bouma (Kleinhoven). He is survived by: his wife Rose Bouma (Zuria); his children, Marie Clinton (Cody Dale) of Belmont, Michael Newby (Christine McCully) of Aylmer and Tony Bouma (Jessica) of Halifax; and his siblings, Bert Bouma of Aylmer, Elizabeth Thoonen (Jerry) of Aylmer and Aleida Nooren (John) of St. Thomas. He is also survived by 4 grand children and 6 great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Animal Aide of St. Thomas-Elgin.
