He is survived by: his spouse Lynn Hendel (Croft); his children, Peter Hendel (Ingrid) and Jenifer Hendel (Matthew Doherty); his grandchildren, Anya, Maxime and Adelaine; and his siblings, Katie Ungar, Rosina Klein and Martin Hendel.
