He was predeceased by: his parents, Johan Harms and Elisabeth Harms (Reimer). He is survived by: his wife Eva Harms (Reimer); his children, Jacquie and Ryan Harms; and his siblings, Peter (MaryAnne), Diedrich (Judy), John (Mary), Abram (Anita) and Isaac (Lynne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
