She was predeceased by: her husband Rene Rommel; and her parents, Jerome Vandecasteele and Lucy Vandecasteele. She is survived by: her daughter Renee Rommel of Simcoe; her grandchildren, Danielle (Scott) and Darcy (Steve); her great grandchildren, Everly and Paxton; and her brother Maurice Vandecasteele (Elaine). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
