She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Brake and Jeanette Te Brake (Zylstra); her husband Arnold Van Dyken; her siblings, John Te Brake, Herman Te Brake and Henrietta Tanner; and her brother-in-law Russ Tanner.
She is survived by: her former spouse Jane Helder; her children, Jannette Van Gurp, Betty Kraayenbrink (Jake), Casper Van Gurp (Anita), Joyce Hogeterp (Henry), Jessica Vanden Brink (Paul) and James Van Gurp (Jennifer); her husband Harry; her children, Lisa Westendorp (Herman), Scott Van Dyken (Caroline), Eric Van Dyken (Sarah) and Bruce Van Dyken (Kristi); her siblings, Ardis Negen (Al) and Mark Te Brake (Denise); and her sisters-in-law, Jean Te Brake and Connie Te Brake. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Christian Reformed Church (106 6th St, Prinsburg, MN 56281). A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Holland Township Cemetery.
