She was predeceased by: her son Terry Ellis; her siblings, Grant Laur (Joyce), Fred Laur (Betty), Ralph Laur and Myrna Barham (Bruce); and her parents, Wynfred Laur and Stella Laur (Jackson).
She is survived by: her husband Bob Gillies; her children, Gerald Ellis (Judy) of Golden Lake, David Ellis (Kim) of Aylmer and Dean Ellis of Golden Lake; her stepchildren, Laurie Waldie (Keith), Rob Gillies (Denise) and John Gillies; her grandchildren, Tyler, Derek, Nicole and Steven; and her stepgrandchildren, Mark, Shawn, Jeff, Greg, Amanda, Emily, Haley and Braydon. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Donations to the London Health Sciences Centre- Regional Cancer Clinic or St. Paul's United Church would be appreciated.
