She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Thiessen; her son Jacob; and her parents, Jacob Knelsen and Aganetha Knelsen (Harms). She is survived by: her children, Mary Sippert (Harry), Netty Ens (Jake), Margaret Ens (Peter) and Tina Brix (Erich). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home (119 Talbot St E, Aylmer, ON N5H1H3). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bradley Street Church of God (5 Bradley St, Aylmer, ON N5H2Y4).
