She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Masschaele; her daughter Valerie Masschaele; her siblings, Julien, Andre, Louis, Ceryl Lamote, Maria Lamote, Gabrielle Lamote, Eugenie Lava and Simonne Hamers; and her parents, Jerome Lamote and Valerie Lamote (DeSmith).
She is survived by: her children, Charles Masschaele of Aylmer, David Masschaele (Deborah Hickman) of St and Thomas; her sister Amanda Stubbe; her sister-in-law Madeleine Bossuyt; and her nephew Mike Bossuyt (Judy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
